- Directions from Newark-Liberty International Airport (96 miles): Exit the airport following the signs for Route 1 & 9 Express lanes South. Merge onto NJ-81 S toward I-95 / NJ TURNPIKE / DOWD AVE / NORTH AVE / ELIZABETH SEAPORT (Portions toll). Take the TURNPIKE SOUTH / I-95 S ramp. Take the Garden State Parkway Exit – Exit 11 – and take the Garden State Parkway South. Continue on the Garden State Parkway and merge onto NJ 72-East via Exit 63.
